I was telling a friend about the last time I was in East Africa; I hired a pilot with an old plane and we recreated the flight from "Out of Africa," except I was too busy taking photographs to hold the pilot's hand. . . So that made me remember other times when I’ve tried to see places or even recreate scenes from my favorite movies.

Roman Holiday!

Scary scooters are a miss, but sticking my hand into the statue’s mouth was cool. No way to find the place where they did the big dance/fight scene forty years later. Spanish Steps way overrated, and the wall of notes or whatever they call it wasn't that hot either.
