Osipec breakfast before leaving Zakopane.
We took the bus back to Krakow early morning and arrived nicely on time. Yet we had pre booked tickets for the train to Warsaw and so we had to wait quite a long time in the station. The weather was sad and rainy and we had to carry all the luggage, so we decided not to head back to the center of Krakow just for few hours. Instead, we sat down to have some cake in the station café and watched some Polish TV. We did not understand a thing about it, except that the first program was about some endoscopic research (not the nicest thing to watch while eating) and the other was about a funeral going on in a Warsaw church. We weren't able to find out who died though.

After what seemed an extremely long time waiting, our train left perfectly on time for the capital city of Poland. It was an, for Belgian standards, old train but I thought is was very cozy and sweet. There were four seats in our cabin, all occupied by friendly quite people and lot's of luggage. After about three hours (if I recall correct), we arrived at our destination again not a second late, and took a cab to our hostel. The driver made us worry a little when he claimed not to know the place, which usually isn't a good sign. Especially as the hotel was supposed to be at one of the main squares in the old quarter. Yet we found it without any trouble, and it was splendid!
