Lazinskie park
July 23, 2008
On our last day in Poland we visited Lazinski park. A lot nicer than the Wilonw gardens, except for the weather, which was announcing storm. So where the peacocks in the gardens, shouting all the time. And believe me, there are many peacocks in Lazinski :)
It was a quiet and relaxed day, after which we picked up our luggage at the Castle Inn and took the bus to the airport. Our plain was delayed but after all, we arrived without to many problems back in Belgium. It is never fun to end a lovely holliday, so I don't really feel like writing much about this day. We had a great time in Poland, a country that surely surprised us.

Peacocks are everywhere in Lazie…
The best and probably biggest park in Warsaw
All I can say is: if you want to visit a park in Warsaw, visit Lazinski. We've payed way to much for the Wilanow gardens, which were sad, while this place is ten times bigger, nicer and it's for free.
There are several entrances to the park, most of them have bus stops in front. The park is most famous for the Chopin monument that is in it, and definitely is worth a visit to. Apart from that, there's a castle (well, several palaces actually), a pond, terraces and gardens, trees and monuments, nice waffles and many peacocks. We had a nice time here, relaxing before taking our flight back home.
