Today my trip to Calgary, Canada starts. Actually, It's 7am and I'm sitting at gate 62 of airport zurich and wait for boarding. It's pretty hot in here and some strange poeple are walking around ...

I landed at London Heathrow, terminal 5. The lady in Zurich told me that I will have to change the terminal in London and she gave me a information-sheet “how to change the terminal in Heatrow” and this sheet statet a horrible mixtures of walking and bus driving for about 2 hours. In fact it was a short walk of 500m, a pretty comfortable bus driving of about 15minutes and that's it. The new terminal 5 looks pretty cool, while terminal 4 is still the same old building. For all of you who know terminal 4, there's a quit zone at one end of the terminal where you may go for a sleep or reading a book. A few years ago, there was also the smoking room. This is now a prayer room. I talked to a lady from the airport and asked her where to smoke" her answer was, sorry no smoking in the whole airport. Thank god, I've quit smoking a few weeks ago. I'm happy about this, but I think some countries and some guys act pretty stupid with their anti-smoking campaigns. It's ok, that smoking is not allowed in all areas, but my point of view is, that there should be a room or an outdoor facility where smokers are able to inhale their drugs. For all non-smokers out there in the world, believe me it is horrible to wait in an airport for 8 hours (as I do today) and not to have the possibility to smoke. But that's enough about that theme.

Now its a few minutes past 1pm, my airplane will leave at around 5pm " I had something to eat, a coffee at starbucks, I think it's time for a sleep....
