White water Rafting the Kicking Horse River

Our raft for the trip

Today we went rafting the Kicking Horse River with Wet 'n' Wild Adventures. We did the double excitement wich means we combined the half-day trip with the lower canyon. To say it even better, a lot of class IV rapids wich means you will get wet. To everyone who's going white water rafting on the Kicking Horse River, do the lower canyon. It's worth the money.

By the way, there are only two ways to travel through the pass. The first one is the way we did, white water rafting. The second more luxorious way is by train, the Rocky Mountaineer uses the pass for it's Kicking Horse Route between Vancouver and Banff.

For more information, see also the website of Wet 'n' Wild Adventures, www.wetnwild.bc.ca, they have a video on their site wich give you a good impression what to expect.

Tip: Make reservations in advance!!!
