This one is actually Hitchen, but the rest are of Buckden

The following day wasn't terrible.  I hadn't slept enough, that was for sure, but I had avoided the bulk of a hangover.  I took an early afternoon stroll into town (I didn't want to drive until I was sure the alcohol had left my system), and that ended up in one of the local pubs pretty quickly.  I was tempted to stay the night, but instead thought it would be a royal pain getting to work the following day, and so it was a disappointing soft drink only for me.

It soon became time to leave, so I wished Bondy well, and thanked him for his generous hospitality, and set off for the A1.  I've recently taken to breaking up the longer journeys with little stop offs, and for this time, I chose the small village of Buckden.   It was wonderfully quaint, however, being a Sunday, everything was close.  I had a little walk around, and aminly through the bishops former residence grounds, before rejoining the road, adn heading home.  It's always a pleasure meeting up with my traveller friends, and is guaranteed fun.
