After meeting a friendly french biker in Monaco who advised us of the sights and sounds, we toured Monaco on foot. Many thanks to that unknown named friend.

Not long after we crossed the border into Italy. Took the slow road towards the cinque terre, up and down the mountains, (adelaide people, imagine devils elbow upon itself many times over, but fun and slow and safe, parents). Made it in time to a beach town one stop from the cinque terre, for a swim at the pebbly beach.

For dinner, Chris cooked some amazing fresh ravioli in a pesto sauce. Toped off with some local wine....(with some bubbles....).

Today we've decided to take the train to the cinque terre to give chris a rest from the hairpin corners and about to walk along Lover's Lane. Its a beautiful day!

Thanks for the reassuring comment for parents. Sounds fantastic! Glad dad isn't driving on those bends. Remember Bulahdelha Mountain?

I am not surprised you need a break. What happens with the bike? Can it go on the train? Glad the weather is staying lovely for you :)Looking forward to the next installment...
