I am riding my motorbike from London, UK to home, Adelaide, Australia. I will be heading south to Sicily, Italy and then making way across towards Turkey. Then head down through Iran, Pakistan and India. From there I will try to make it into South East Asia. Hope to put motorbike on a ship from Dili, East Timor to Darwin. Departure Date 4th August 2008.

Evening before Departure

Hello to all that are keen to monitor my progress home. I would first like to state after a pretty big week of celebrating my farewells that I am sure going to miss a lot of people from London. Second thanks goes to my work coleagues who all chipped into buy me a gps. It is brilliant. But it currently tells me i am 16,258 kilometres from home. As the crow flies that is. Doesnt seem far does it???

The penultimate day in the UK has included a lunch with friends at the Lighthouse followed by what only turned into some serious 'Jenga' to which i lost. Then Amy and I spent the evening with some Thai takewaway and packed everything up into the boxes which can only be describe as small but we seem to have made it all fit.

Anyway i better get a decent night sleep before departure.
