The Opera House... apparently the most famous building in Oz...

Thanks to my sinus/fever, I didn't get much sleep last night.  First thing this AM I went into Sydney in search of a Doctor to cure whats ailing me.  As luck would have it, I stumbled upon a clinic that did NOT accept Walk-ins (i.e. me) but just so happened to have a patient cancel at the last moment... they took one look at me and said "maybe we could take a quick looksy at you" (I'm telling you... I'm pathetic at the moment).  After being poked, prodded and questioned for about a half an hour... I was happily on my way with a bag full o' antibiotics and steroids which are supposed to make me all better.  After leaving the Doctor's office with my booty of prescription drugs... I decided to wander around Sydney for a bit.  I ended up walking around for a few hours, all the while taking in the sights.  I meandered through The Rocks, then under the Harbor Bridge before circling back to the Opera House.

The Sydney Harbor Bridge...
After taking a lap around the Opera House... I cut through the Botanical Gardens to see Mrs. Macquaries Chair.  At this point I cut south to Woolloomooloo and ended up in Kings Cross.  After checking out King's Cross for a bit... I decided to head back to Bondi Beach to "freshen up" (I was sweating like a fat kid at this point).  After a quick shower and a short nap... I decided it was time to eat.  At which point I had an epiphany.  I hit an internet cafe... and sure as shit... Sydney has a Hooter's! (well... it's not actually in Syndey per se... it's in Parramatta... but close enough).  So I took the hour long train ride to the NW suburb of Parramatta to enjoy an American Institution.  The gods must've really been smiling on me this day... cuz not ONLY did I manage to find the only Hooter's in Oz... but they just so happened to be showing the San Antonio Spurs Game on the TV (Hallelujah).  If you didn't know... the SA Spurs are my hometown/favorite basketball team.  So... I spent the evening watching B-ball... eating wings... and even managed to get a beer in me before heading back to Bondi for the best nights sleep I'd had in days.  OK... gotta run... my internet time is almost up... stay tuned.
