LA to San Diego to Tijuana for about 7 minutes so we're not kidnapped, and then on to the real Baja. Ensenada, San Quintin, Bay of LA, Guerrero Negro, San Ignacio, Muluge, Loreto and La Paz. From La Paz Baja California Mexico, we'll stick ourselves onto the ferry to cross the Sea of Cortez to mainland Mexico to spend a week or more exploring the food and culture of the Copper Canyon. From the CC its down the coast of Mexico and then up and over the mountains into Mexico City

San Ignacio

This is a beautiful area. There are palm trees everywhere. Something I was used to seeing so much so everyday that I didn't think anything of it. But I hadn't seen a plam tree in weeks, were in the desert. But here there were so many & it was beautiful. This was a nice spot to just hang out.

Deep behind a palm tree filled area was a small dirt road that led to a natural spring. On the bank was a huge tree that had a sturdy looking rope attached. I feeling a little less adventourous then I normally do decided I wasn't going to try it out. So insead I got some great footage of Kyle trying the rope out.

We met some other travelers from Canada, Len & Theodora. We sat & had drinks with them. A very interesting couple, it is nice to meet other travelers along the way you seem to have an instant unspoken connection. We talked about all the places we had been & where we both were going to be heading. They were also going to Loreto so we'll see if we see them again. ; )
