Hydro: One town's misnomer

Over the course of 8 days, my husband and I, along with our 14 year old kitty, drove from Washington DC to San Diego CA this week. Highlights include stops along Route 66 in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico and incredible scenic vistas of the Southwest.

Hydro: One town's misnomer

We stopped by one small town named Hydro that was supposed to be a fun side stop, but every single store was closed since it was Sunday. Our OKC friend Kristin had mentioned that Sundays were pretty quiet in Oklahoma, but we really didn't understand until we stopped in this virtual ghost town.
