Christmas
December 25, 2006
Its Christmas Day in the United States which means that its time to leave the country. Being a cheaper day to fly, not to mention the empty (or emptier) airports, we took a 7:30 AM flight out of Phoenix, through San Franciso, to Kansai Airport (KIX) in Japan. This effectively removes all obligations for making Christmas day phone calls. However, all of those had to occur on December 24th as a result of the trip, so no real benefit was realized in that arena.
As expected, security at Sky Harbor (terminal 2) was pretty simple to get through. San Francisco's International Terminal wasn't any more difficult. The United flight to KIX boarded and took off without much fanfare and we were in the air by noon, PST.
