1 year old on TB....

Yeah, one year old on TB so what am I gonna today? Throw out a party? Buy myself a cake? No, maybe I'll just celebrate it at the next day's July 17 Global Manila Meet-up if I make it to the event? The July 17 meet-up is the closest TB event to July 16 so that could be my way of celebrating my first year anniversary. But what about today, the 16th? Well, nothing is planned. I'll just go ahead with my daily routine. I wouldn't even text my TB gangmates in Manila to bother them about this. Just chill. No parties, no booze, no cigarettes, no sex, no drugs, no TB, no addicting influences. What? No TB today? It didn't happen. I don't know. I just can't stay away from TB. I'm hooked.

Sarj(www.travbuddy.com/kickasstuner) and JeAr (www.travbuddy. com/jear) unexpectedly texted me in the afternoon asking me to be with them to have dinner with two guests from Netherlands. It was quite difficult to convince myself to go out of the house on that rainy afternoon but Sarj was quite successful in her text drama asking me to be with her and JeAr. I said yes after some moments of hesitation. Hmmm...no plan and intention of seeing travbuddies on July 16 but it's not happening.

Jear was already at the Aveneto Pizzeria Ristorante at the Glorietta in Makati City when I arrived. I ordered double pepperoni pizza and chatted with Jear until Sarj arrived next, followed by the two other TBs I was meeting for the first time that afternoon(allnamestaken/Jorrit and backpackjoe/Joey from Netherlands). Sarj and I were meeting Jorrit and Joey for the first time but it was easy to bond with these two funny and crazy but super cool guys who are easy to get along with and are real nice buddies. We all share common interests & similar experiences:travel, beaches, R&B music, soccer, beer, Beach Club, RCA, etc . It was difficult to part ways after dinner as we had just started sharing stories and since beer was not served at Avenetto, we moved on to The Fort where we continued talking, singing,joking at each other over Red Horse and San Mig beers. The music coming from the band at the second floor of Pier One Restaurant set us into party mode so we transferred from the third floor veranda to the second floor to jam with the party people.  As we got down, guess what happened? We met more TBs! Foyan(coffeefairy) and SweetHomeAlabama James(79Stomper)! joined us.
