Today Ben and I decided just to sleep in so we didn't set an alarm clock and we woke up around 12pm. I gave my laundry to the lady to wash for me and then we got 2 bikes from the shed and rode into town. I haven't rode a bike in ages so at first it was a bit wobbly but eventually I got back into the swing of things. OH MY GOD though the seats were soooo uncomfortable and it was killing me!
First we stopped off at this really pretty church to take some pictures and then we went to the city centre and locked up the bikes. We didn't really have anywhere set that we wanted to go to so we just decided to walk around and explore and see what we could find. We went through a really big fruit market and then we stopped to get a drink and some ice cream.

After the shopping we decided it was time for lunch and we wanted to go to a little restaurant called Emonska Klet that the hostel owener recommended to us. He said from 12-5 for 5 euro you can get a really good big lunch. We found it and it was really cute...you wouldn't be able to tell from the outside as it basically just looks like any other door but once you get inside and go downstairs the place is MASSIVE! The roof is all arched and it's all big wooden tables and it looks a lot like the renisance age and what not. So for 5,10 we got the buffet salad bar, soup, a HUGE chicken schnitzel with chips, and then an apply cinamon pastry for dessert.

After lunch we decided to "waddle" up to the castle. We decided to walk rather then take the tram up which was good but also not very smart after eating a huge lunch. And of course, the castle is at the top of a massive mountain/hill so it was qutie a difficult walk to get up there. Once at the top we just hung out and napped on the grass for about half an hour before exploring around the castle. To tell the truth it was a bit boring and not much there so we didn't go in and just walked around. We found a different route on the way down that was a nice path through a whole bunch of trees so that was really nice.
We got back into the city centre and there is this one area that is by the three briges where way up in the sky there is a sprinkler going off.

Then we went back to the bikes and rode back to the hostel. We were ridding really fast, not because we had to be somewhere, but the faster we rode the shorter the time we spent on the bike, and the less pain in my ass! Back at the hostel we just hung around not doing much. We went to the store to get more sauce for the pasta for dinner. After dinner Ben and I were researching Eurail passes and Interail passes for him.

Later we went back to the city centre with our Italian room mate whose name I can't remember and the hostel owner drove us in. We went to this one outside cafe/bar by the 3 bridges and the "weather system." I had a melon ball cocktail which was really good! We went to another bar and the guys got beer but I just wanted coffee which they weren't serving anymore so I didn't get anything. We walked back to the hostel which took us about 30 minutes but it was a really nice night out and a good walk.
Back at the hostel I sat outside with Jim, Abe, and Christian while they played cards and chatted with them for a while. Then I went to bed.
