The flight wasn't too bad, was about 2 hours. We finally got to Madrid but we landed at T1 instead of the main terminal which is T4. Well actually, I think we landed in T4 and then drove all the way over to T1!! By time we got all our bags and caught the bus to T4 to meet Alex and Lauro it was 2am. We had missed the last metro into the centre of Madrid and decided to spend the night in the Madrid airport. For the longest time we just sat outside with all our bags looking like bums and just chatting and listening to some music as Alex brought speakers for his Ipod. It got a little bit chilly after a while so then we went inside and got a table in the cafeteria. We sat there for the rest of the night just eating some food and chatting and laughing. Everything seemed extra funny as we were all pretty tired and getting giddy lol. Around 5:45 we headed down to the metro to buy our tickets to get on the 1st train at 6am. We had to book it as our bus is due to depart at 7:30am and we don't want to miss it!
