Mumbai
We were very tired after our flight so were glad to see our pick up driver waiting to take us to Bentleys Hotel in Colaba, Mumbai. The hotel was in a good location although slightly pricey.
The following morning we went to view Victoria Terminus Train Station and purchase our train tickets to Ahmedabad. This was a lot easier than we had been led to believe, and the building itself was amazing. We enjoyed the walk back to the hotel passing through the Fort area before heading to the Gateway Of India and the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
During our time in Mumbai we also visited Chowpatty Beach, Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat (Asia's largest outdoor laundry), navigated the Western Railway and watched Jaane Tu the latest Bollywood blockbuster at the Eros cinema.
