The highlight of today was getting Thai massages for only $6! It’s a full hour of aromatherapy massages with combination of Shiatsu, Thai and swedish techniques.
I was wanted to sleep so bad, but I had my contacts on. Overall I am less tense and soo relaxed. Adam enjoyed the experience as well; it was his first massage. Afterwards, we walked along the village back to grandma’s place. My mom called up an old friend of mine to pick us up and show us around. His name was Jan. He picked us up in a cool old school muscle car and we picked up his cousin Andrew in Mabalacat. They took us over to a big mall here called SM San Fernando. I hate shopping around here. It’s simply too crowded and the stored suck. Everybody stares at us too, and for good reason cause we totally stand out. I’m a light skinned Filipino who dresses differently that everyone here, and Adam, well, Adam is Mexican. Hahaha.Adam and I were desperate for alcohol so we all went to a cool place called Gerry’s Grill. It reminded me of a TGIF but Filipino and it had hard alcohol! We pretty much bought the whole bar! We kept on ordering drinks left and right and food here and there. And to make things even greater, the whole bill was only $30! Jeeze our receipt looked like it was a foot long! We were tipsy and Jan decided that we meet up with other friends and head over to an African themed bar called Zulu. I was having a great time reminiscing with friends, but Adam the outsider got really drunk. It was really funny. He kept ordering Kamikazis and downed them all. He was soooo drunk and was looking for a Karaoke bar to sing his damn Billy Joel. All the local kept calling him Lasing which meant drunkard, and enjoyed laughing at his ways. We all decided it was best to bring him home and call it a night.
