In the summer of 2006 I had the opportunity to travel, so I decided to do it. (You only live once) Here are some notes I took along the way to remember what happened. I took photos with a 35mm camera, so they are mostly crumby, but there are a few nice ones.

Friday

  • We had to find a new hostel because we could only get one night at our current one, it was not in the absolute centre of town like the last one.
  • We washed some clothes at the laundry place next door.
  • We walked to some Gaudí buildings, Casa Vicens then to Casa Milà (La Pedrera).  In the attic of the latter is the Gaudí museum with audio tour.
  • Then we walked to La Sagrada Familia (which is the probably the most intricate church I've ever seen), and by the bull fighting ring.
  • We bought frozen stuff to eat at the hostel kitchen including a peas/corn mix, canneloni, and ice cream (I accidentally left one of the three cups in the fridge the next day)
