the sun was shining again so we decided to have a look at 'grindelwald first' as there is a nice (mirror) lake with a view on the three mountains just a short 50 minutes hike away.

after a healthy swiss breakfast (birchermüesli for me, it was brilliant!) at c&m we headed up to the station inside the village. the gondula up and the hike were nice, with clouds everywhere adding to the athmosphere. well, part of it was also tons of hiking douchebags with their silly poles walking 1km / h on the relatively flat trek.

the lake unfortunately wasn't mirroring by the time we went there and the clouds were blocking one of the mountains but it was still a very impressive sight and worth the short hike. we walked back, rode down, had another icecream in the again sunny grindelwald and went up to grosse scheidegg which wasn't really worth it.

it would probably have been better to hike there from first and the weather wasnt too great either. frustrating also the 'private' transport in the fake-postauto up there which set us back around CHF 20 each.

that finished our power-day and we went out in grindelwald a last time after eating in the fabulous chinese(!) restaurant jasmine something (garden?) right on the main street, who would have thought! nightlife for a saturday was boring with some distracting strange americans who somehow got lost there on the way to interlaken or so...
