Gimmelwald - Switzerland

When I woke up I was delayed for about an hour while trying to find my phone. I had just about decided that someone had stolen it from my bed while I was asleep when I found it a bunk down from where I was mixed up in this girl's luggage. Apparently it had fallen off and traveled a ways on it's way down. I am just glad it didn't smash to bits.

I came straight up to Gimmelwald to check into the Mountain Hostel here. The weather was cloudy/foggy with no visibility all day, so no views of the Alps from today :(

I took a nap hoping things would clear up, but they didn't.

The good thing, though, is that everyone was hanging out at the hostel with the foggy weather so I got to relax and meet a lot of cool people.

There was a pool table, music, a kitchen to cook (the hostel also had a small assortment of common things people needed for cooking) and a fire powered hot tub, so everyone was okay with hanging out. There is only one computer here, though, which is why I am behind again.

The chocolate is SO good here. I want to send some home but I am not sure that will work. I'd hate to pay the pricey postage to have melted chocolate arrive.

Tomorrow I will go to the top of Europe if the weather clears. If not, back to Interlaken early I suppose.
