I woke up at Rory's around 10.00 and checked on the train times. I decided to take the 13.20 to Belfast as my tour is early tomorrow. The Eurail only covered my trip to Dundalk. A return o and from Belfast was 24.5 euro The coach was about 2 euro less for the total journey, but it wasn't very comfortable and it takes an hour longer I believe.

I also booked my first hostel (Belfast Internation Yourth Hostel) for tongiht for 12 euro or about $18. Not bad.

I just got here to the hostel and it seems fine. No horror stories to report back with yet. I am doing laundry and typing as fast as I can so that I can beat my pre-paid internet countdown..

The hostel isn’t bad, especially since all I will do is sleep and shower there. I washed and dried my clothes there for £3.50, which you probably know is like $7.00!!! A rip off if you ask me, but what can I do? Maybe it isn’t though, I have never washed my clothes anywhere but home.

After they washed, I set them to dry and headed out to the southern portion of the City.

I checked out the location of my departure in the mourning and then headed to the Botanical Gardens. Nothing special for me there, but I suppose that may be because the Palm House and the Tropical Ravine were closed. The palm house looked cool, but the Ravine seemed old and run down. Maybe it had beautiful things inside though. I finished up there then headed back for my clothes.

I met a mid-twenties couple backpacking Ireland for 2 weeks. They were really cool to chat briefly with while folding. The guy couldn’t believe I was going at it alone. He has no idea haha.

After I folded, I went out to the town center. Although Belfast is not my favourite city thus far, their city hall is breathtakingly large and equally as impressive.

Not that exciting of a day overall, but at least I get to see Giant’s Causeway and Derry tomorrow! Plus, I will have more interesting days in the UK.

Queen's University. Massive

Funny story. So I was just walking down the street to get to this café, and I saw a kid in the driver’s seat. I said, “There is no WAY that kid is DRIVING!?!?”  I still haven’t gotten use to it as you can see. Just a note if you come here, look both ways before you cross the road, but look the CORRECT way first haha.

Did I mention I hate paying £1 per 20 min for the internet here?

Singing out on that note… see you all tomorrow. Hopefully the weather cooperates for my Giant’s Causeway and Rope Bridge photos.

Edit: I will add the first batch of photos from today later. I ran out of time with this rediculiously slow internet.
