Bath - England, United Kingdom
August 27, 2008
Finally, we rolled into the town of Bath (or should I say BaaaaaaTH). This city is beautiful from above. The main attraction here is the Roman Baths, which is about all we had time to see during the tour. These were really interesting, and it was cool to imagine how these were used during the days of the Roman's rule. If it weren't for the uncovered roof which allows in the sunlight, there would be no algae, and I might have jumped in haha.
I did taste the water from the pump room. It smells and tastes very badly, but I knew that going in and I couldn't leave the city without trying it and its 48 or so minerals haha.
I would like to return later to see more of the city. The guide said that Johnny Depp and Nicholas Cage have homes here, it must be cool haha.
That's about it from today. Overall pricey, but well worth it. The tour guide, Steve, made it fun with his balanced mix of humor and history.
I am not sure what is on tap for tomorrow.... I guess we will see then. It might be laundry day early if I can't get the machine tonight haha.
