A look at Downtown Little Rock as taken from my car while driving

This weekend was a great weekend to just get away from it all and to meet up with other campus ministers from all over the country as well as Canada. The entire trip was great including the drive to Searcy. The 4 ½ drive was not uneventful. Things were going along well until I got up to Little Rock where there was a major head on collision. The two cars were total and both drivers didn’t make it. The 1 hour bottle neck on 67 was just incredible. I knew something was happening, so I took out my camera and started filming. I have included a clip of the cars. It was pretty bad.

The weather on the way up started off pretty good and then I ran into a bad thunderstorm. The rain was coming down so hard that I could not see anything around me. I think I was creeping along at about 25 miles an hour. The great thing was that I made it there safely. I stopped to buy $4.19 a gallon gas and was on my way. Made it to Searcy where I found my hotel, checked in and then made my way down to Harding University for the first evening events.

Well you drove right past my house heading to Searcy, I lived in North Little Rock for a while. I was right where you turned off 40 onto 67. :)
