Postscript to the snow trip

So, it turns out that, while I didn't dislocate my shoulder, I've actually given my AC joint (joins the collar bone to the shoulder) a good beating. My physio taped it up and now I'm walking around with one arm looking like it belongs on some steroid-pumped gym junkie whose over-inflated biceps can't fit into their hip pocket :( But I only have to have the tape on for a few days just to help the inflammation go down... that'll learn me.
I asked him if it meant I'd have to stay away from snowboarding for a bit and his response was "not if you can guarantee you won't fall on it again". I don't like those odds so it looks like I'll be off the board for the next month.
Which would suck except for the fact that I'm off to Kuala Lumpur and Phuket for two weeks tomorrow, yay! Although I'm going to have to try to figure out a way to not end up with tan lines where the tape is...
