First time Italy

Today 30th April it is Queen’s day in the Netherlands, but we’re off to Italy! My first visit to Italy. We booked this trip with a local tourist agency. My biggest fear was that they took us to Italy and then said goodbye. Luckly they brought us back save and sound to our hotel in Croatia. First we visited a church in Triëst (Italy). After that, we had 2 hours to discover Triëst. I never knew but Italy has a lot of strange lavatories. They look like a shower, just a hole in the ground. No lavatory pan. We continued our journey to the castle of Maximilian. The castle is made of white stones from Istria. The interior of the castle is heavy decorated. The view from the castle is marvellous. The castle is called Miramar.
