Starting out

The first day of my trip, going to Amsterdam to catch a KLM 747 to Chicago. Unfortunately it appeared thay couldn't get one of the doors closed, and ofcourse 10 minutes later an announcement was made that we had to wait somewhere in the terminal for another plane. Time for another beer then, and within an hour there was another 747 standing ready to fly us to the States. This one was a full passenger, the first one a passenger/freight combi. This made that about everyone had 2 chairs :)
At the end I was only about an hour late in Chicago. We got a cab and went to the Marriott. Great hotel, and great value since we booked through priceline.
One with closing doors, the KLM ...
