Wow...the last hour of waiting yesterday was really really though. Especially when the billboards started displaying "Aproaching" all theese butterflies started flying upside down in my stomach. I was really excited. And then when the remarks changed to landed and ten minutes later I recived this txt message saying that he was waiting for the suitcase....I allmost couldn't stand it. But seeing my boyfriend again was as good as ever. Such a relif!
We decided to go for an early sleep and woke up around 4.30 which is incredible because due to his late arrival an early sleep meant not staying up for hours talking about the flight and whats happend during the last two months - but directly to the sack at 00.00 - and that made it even more incredible that we both woke up at 4.
Anyway we walked the 20 min. walk to Märsta Station and took the train into Stockholm. Then walked around the channels down past Riksdagen (parliament) to the Royal Palace and from there bought a ticket for the hop on hop off boat sightseeing tour, which means you can hop off at any ports and hop on again after being finished exploreing the area by foot.
So this way we ended up having seen Nybroplan, the drama theatre, Nybro Pier and the big park there, the area around Vasa Musseum, went inside the amusement park Gröna Lund, and finally finished up with a long walk through the old town back to the central station - it was magnificent and we acctually had 6 hours of fun for onley 100 SEK.
At 6pm we took the train back to Märsta but after having departed the conductor told us that our return ticket was not valid in this train onley the pendeltåg (short distance trains) and I was on the limit of killing her with my bare hands because noone told us - we just hoped on the train for Märsta.
Anyway she decided to onley charge us with one ticket, which was acctually kind of her. But never the less it's annoying. After arriving at Märsta station we took the beautyfull walk from the station through the forrest to the hotel. Hernie was a little weird about the forrest first but okay forrests in the Philippines are probabaly not the safest places to be.
Back at the hotel we had a cup of coffee and then asked them to take us to the airport in the free shutle bus. Nice service - checked in and here we met new technology at it's finest. SAS has started takeing fingerprint scans at check in which means if I check in with my fingerprint then I just scan again at the gate and none of us has to show ID. I dont know what I feel about this new system at one point I think it's nice but then again I also feel it's beng a little to personal.
But we made the flight and at 22.45 we arrived safely at Malmö Airport after a long but wonderfull day. Our first together in Europe.....
