Märsta is a beautyfull area.

Okay here's the game. I'm going to Stockholm this weekend because my filippino fiancé is coming for a 3 month visit. First time he comes here - acctually first time he's outside the Philippines but that's an entirely diffrent matter :).  He's landing in Stockholm today at 11:05pm so I decided to go up here and meet him here instead of leting him take the trip down to Malmö alone. Heck yeah I'm a wonderfull guy aint I ? :))

Anyway the day before yesterday I started to feel nervous and superexcited so I really never had any sleep besides the two hours between 8 and 10 am. I was all to hyped to sleep. Then last night I wanted to crash in early because the bus for the airport left Malmö at 5.

10am (for some reason if I was supossed to be there two hours before departure when check in opend and I prefered that I would have to take this bus even though it meant being there 3,5 hours before departure. BUt, but but.....I sad and talked during the evening with a friend and sudently I realised the time had passed midnight...fuck I have to be up in 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (shower coffee and breakfast things takes time) so I decided to not give a damn and not sleep. So when I arrived in Malmö Airport I had not been sleeping for two days with the exception of two hours.

Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooofe.....yes thank God 7-Eleven was open so I rushed over and had a cop of coffe. Then at two hours prior to departure I lined up at the Sterling Airlines check in counter, but nothing happend.

Märsta.
1,5 hours before departure - nothing still happend, the line was geting longer though and everyone was geting more and more frustrated and nervous.

Thank God with one hour to go they opend check in. So I asked about it and she said that for the first flight it was one hour before and then 1,5 hour before for the rest of the day. I told her that it says otherweise on their website and they should change it. She could not agree more....it's nice to be understood :)

So well up in the aircraft a smal Boeing 737-700 with less leg space then a Smart Car cut in half, I acctually managed to fall asleep, and onley woke after 20 minutes because I heard the word coffee hehehehe. Ofcourse I bought one.

There was a bit of turbulence on the route to Stockholm and even during the descent but everything went fine and as we sat wheels on Arlanda Airport after one hour flight I was ready to get out, and well out of the building with the right suitcase in hand and a less then clear head I called the hotel and asked them to pick us up.

Since Arlanda Airport is onley 4 km.'s away this is a sight you get all the time.
Which they did. It's a nice service with this free shutle bus.

Unfortunately my room wasnt ready, which I was a little anoyed over, because I had set up a business meeting in the lobby since I was going to be here anyway, and I would acctually have loved to change before that. But no room yet. Well here comes SAS at their best, I just told them I'd sit in the lobby cafe and wait for my apointment and then check in later. But after like 7 minutes the girl from the front desk aproached me and said that now they had a room. Really good and nice service.

So I did the huricane style change of clothes, freshing up and as my apointment called me to say that he had arrived I was all set, just to the minute. What luck. I went through the meeting and then afterwarsds decided to go for a walk aroudn the area.

Local Lambourghini dealer makes your dreams go crazy.....
It's all open spaces out here, but there's supriseingly enough quite a few restaurants, and shops and not to forget - Mototown - Ferrari and Lambourghini dealers. I want one of those babies....just so that you guys know in case you have a problem with my christmas gift :)

Then walked back to the hotel, took a hot bath and a one hour nap. Now I'm just strolling around the airport with a nervous smile on my face, my loved one is arriveing in about an hour....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
