Rafting the Grand Canyon

I went rafting in the Grand Canyon June 6 -12 and posted some pictures and links.
Some of the highlights of the trip were:

-THE CANYON!!  Incredible beauty!
-seeing the Space Shuttle and ISS fly over twice.
-seeing spotted skunk for the first time...twice!  The joys of having a restroom with no doors.
-great food provided by the crew of Arizona River Rafters
-catching some nice sized rainbow trout (see above-yum!)
-swimming in the blue water of the Little Colorado River and Havasupai Creek
-listening to music in the Redwall Cavern and in a slot canyon
-all the stars!  I could see more from the bottom of the canyon than in Flagstaff
-the daily hikes into the side canyons
-having a raven unzip and unpack my bag for me--at least he didn't steal anything!
-shooting the rapids!  I've wanted to go over Granite Rapids for 24 years!
-running and sliding into the river on sleeping pads.
-bathing in 48-50F water.
-flying out of the Canyon in a helicopter
-flying on "Rodeo Airlines" over the Kaibab Plateau and back to Marble Canyon. I felt like I should be holding on with one hand with the other hand in the air.
-seeing all the animals (big horn sheep, mule deer, ravens, llizards sscorpion(on my socks),  birds, fish,  and ssurprisinglyfew bugs.
-feeling so small in a place so big and beautiful!
-meeting people from all over the country
-listening to Tom Vail speak.  He wrote "The Grand Canyon: A Different View".
