Arrive in Belize City from Houston's George Bush International Airport, nonstop. [$423] Take taxi to Belize Municipal Airport. [$6] Take domestic flight on Tropic Air to Ambergris Cayes, San Pedro. [$29] Check into Coral Beach Hotel (corner of Barrier Reef Drive & Black Coral Street) [$46 w/ fan] Grab lunch from food stand - chicken with beans and rice, BBQ meat, fish, etc. Make trip to Blue Hole through Ambergris Divers. Took boat ride to next dive site at Half Moon Caye.  Have lunch on Half Moon Caye shore then stroll through Red-Footed Booby Bird Santuary. Full gear rentals [$25], NITROX [$15], 3-tank dive trip [$185], Blue Hole park fee [$30]. Rent bike from Joe's Bicycle Rentals (corner of Pescador Drive & Caibena Street) back in San Pedro. [$9/day]

Breakfast at Sandbucks (Vilma Linda Plaza, Tarpon Street) - fruit platters, cakes, buns, pastries, sandwiches, rolls, burritos, salads and $4 lattes. [$2.50-$9] Rent dive gear [$100] and make another scuba trip to Hol Chan Marine Preserve; four zones: Hol Chan Cut, seagrass beds, red mangroves, Shark Ray Alley. [$10 park fee] Dive into Boca Ciega (Blind Mouth) Cave - mini version of Blue Hole. MUST BE CAVE-CERTIFIED. Shark Ray Alley also has wall dive and Belize's only wreck dive (Amigos Wreck, 30') 80' deep.

Late morning/early afternoon flight via Tropic Air back to Belize City's municipal airport. [$29] Taxi [$7] to Coningsby Inn (76 Regent Street)  [$43, no A/C] Taxi [$7 round-trip] to Bird's Isle Restaurant; open-air at end of Albert Street on Bird's Isle - steaks, burgers, fish, shrimp and rice & bean dishes. [$2.50-$12] Take walking tour starting at Caye Caulker Water Taxi Terminal, next to Coastal Zone Museum; Image Factory art gallery; City Hall; Belize Audubon Society; Memorial Park; U.S. Embassy installations; Prime Minister's office; Museum of Belize; Battlefield Park across from courthouse. Stop by Bird's Isle for a refreshing fruit drink.

Tour Altun Ha, 34 miles north of Belize City. [$5] Belize Zoo (Mile 29 Western Highway) [$8] Cave tubing for 3 hours [$90]; makes for a long day trip due to constant moving from one mode of transportation to another...DEFINITELY worth the trip! :) Enjoy the last day at the poolside restaurant of the Stonegrill Restaurant [$10-$15] (Radisson Fort George Hotel, 2 marine Pde) - steak, fajitas, shrimp and chicken satay and many other culinary delights. Taxi to airport [$7]. Board flight to Houston, TX. After another 40-minute wait, board plane to Denver, CO, then home. Arrive Spokane International roughly 5h, 21min, later.
