The Harrah's Casino
After our swamp excitement today (see review) we went for a stroll down to the waterfront mainly to look for a place for dinner. Find one, we did. We decided on "The Crazy Lobster" right by the ferry landing and the beginning of the Riverwalk. (see review) Afterwards we took a long stroll down towards the Natchez a real Mississippi steam boat from the old days. You can go on little river cruises on it or enjoy an evening aboard. We didn't look into how much it would have cost and also didn't wanna be stuck on the boat if it wasn't for us.
Along the river we passed by a Holocaust Memorial. It was colorful. The ones that I've seen before were always very depressing, as the subject. On the way back towards the hotel we stopped at "Coyote Ugly" bar. We had one drink and left. Not my kind of bar. Maybe if the hole place would have been full it could have been fun. I just felt too much put on the spot and the bartenders kept spanking each other. Yeah! If that's your thing you'll feel right at home. ;) Not judging. lol
We did end up going up and down Bourbon Street again. Of course. It seems like the place to be after the sun goes down.
