Cooking together

I know I aquired my passion for cooking from both of my parents.  My mother had me cooking simple meals when I was still single digit age and a latch key kid.  I never thought of it much back then, but now as I look back,  I did learn that it takes passion to cook and to make food taste wonderful, one must put a lot of love in their cooking.  My dad surely taught me that.  

So when I went to Univ of Johnson and Wales from 1998 to 2003, my parents were proud of me to expose one of the traits that they passed down to me and put it to use.  I love going home, home and cooking with my dad.  However when I go home and cook with my mom, sometimes we don't see eye to eye.  She is an old school cook and I am a new school chef.  Either way,  it is lots of fun getting in the kitchen and getting it dirty as long as everyone loves the food someone else will volunteer to do the dishes!!!!
