I’ve moved to Morocco, permanently… I’ve got Africa to the south and Europe to the north, awaiting me and my guitar… But first things first. I’ve got to put down roots here in Morocco. And while I’m doing that, I’m going to go play music in Every Single Town in the whole country…

0238. Down to El Jadida again (Mor 086--new)

Now that I'm back in the swing of things, I figure I might as well keep going... So early this morning I catch the commuter train heading the other way--down to El Jadida--a beautiful city that I parkbenched last February.

Today I'm going to head out to some nearby villages to try out my luck.  I decide to hike it from the train station, along the perimeter of the city... at first it seems like I've reached a whole different town, but nope, I'm still in El Jadida.   This end of town has a beautiful light house that dominates the skyline and a long, rugged coastline.  I wander the neighborhoods a bit, then head out on the highway west, figuring I'd catch a bus once I reached the edge of town.   When I get there, I see the next town, Sidi Bouzid, not to far off--so I figure I'll just keep walking...

I found a sleepy beach town--but with a pleasant stroll along the beach.  I played my set for the ladies collecting clams along the rocky section while the tide was out...

Let's see what there is farther down the coast...
