0237. Another Rabat Suburb (Mor 085--new)

Most of the city buses are on strike today--so I've got a bit of a pickle to get out of:  I didn't bring a lot of money with me... I've got to pick up my passport at the Mauritanian Consulate in Rabat... then I have to be back in Casablanca by six pm...

I hop on a cargo van that's heading to Temara, another Rabat suburb and decide to figure things out from there...

A large, fairly modern town, with a nice forest park at the perimeter to parkbench in... enjoy a delicious Moroccan stew for lunch...

I finally find a bus heading into town and somehow manage to get to the consulate and back to Casablanca in the nick of time...

It's been a fun 2 days... good to be back in the swing of things again...
