0217. Eating my ftor in Khemisset (Mor 065--new)

Had a chance to explore the market and a couple of neighborhoods before the city shut down for ftor--the fast breaking meal... I walked a bit looking for a cafe where I could get a bowl of harira--found one with a couple of  guys eating in it... turned out they were just the cafe employees.  They were so tickled to see a foreigner who was fasting in Ramadan that they insisted on sharing their harira with me...

A very nice, modern plaza with a big crown in the center (a popular symbol in Morocco) worked great for parkbenching...

Did find a couple of hotels--but I thought they were a little overpriced, so I decided to continue on to Meknes...
