0212. Overnight stop in Driouch (Mor 060--new)

When I landed in Driouch, I saw a shabby, little hotel over to the side and I figured I'd better take it--not a whole lot of them in these small towns... It reminded me of a very bad hotel in India... You know, the one's that never get cleaned... 

At the entrance to the town a little canyon with a pool of water caught my eye so I went to take my clip there.  The pool turned out to be just sewage... Oh well.

A couple of guys that came to chat with me spoke in very fluent Spanish... one fellow even told me that he couldn't speak Arabic (just Spanish and Berber) because he'd been out of the country so long....

Enjoyed one last tall glass of "North Moroccan" mint tea in the morning and headed on my way...
