I’ve moved to Morocco, permanently… I’ve got Africa to the south and Europe to the north, awaiting me and my guitar… But first things first. I’ve got to put down roots here in Morocco. And while I’m doing that, I’m going to go play music in Every Single Town in the whole country…

0205. On the Melilla border (Mor 053--new)

After a fun day exploring Melilla I headed back over the border to the Moroccan side--along with hundreds of other folks carrying all sorts of merchandise to re-sell in Morocco... Now I could understand the packages of cookies and diapers--but when I saw two fellows carrying a rusty old bathtub across the border... another two guys carrying a falling apart refrigerator... the whole scene became quite comical.

I actually didn't spend a single cent during my stay in Melilla--so I was ready for a big, cheap meal once I got back to Morocco... a big plate of stewed vegetables with chicken...

The village of Beni Enzar stretches for miles with a scattering of houses climbing up the hillside. Since it was a cool, cloudy day I decided to fully explore the area...

Then caught a bus back down to Nador
