I’ve moved to Morocco, permanently… I’ve got Africa to the south and Europe to the north, awaiting me and my guitar… But first things first. I’ve got to put down roots here in Morocco. And while I’m doing that, I’m going to go play music in Every Single Town in the whole country…

0201. Border Beach Town (Mor 050--new)

Morocco...

Headed back to Berkane and caught a local bus up to Saidia--a popular beach town up north...

I'm not big on beach towns, but... figured I'd go ahead and add it to my collection.  The road up north went through a canyon with the small gully in the center and an Algerian road just a few feet away... if it weren't for those Algerian flags--I could've, you know, "accidentally" stepped into Algeria?!...

Algeria might have the oil, but Morocco has the beaches--at least in Saidia... and the place was packed...

Played some music for some of the vendors as a temporary bazaar targeting the beachgoers...

Clearly little more than a beachtown--but not too impressed with it after experiencing glamourous beach towns like Agadir, or beautiful beach towns like Asilah...
