Getting ready in Tralee

Andy and I set off to Dublin with his two aunts. From there, we did a 10-day Paddywagon tour during which we traveled the coast of the whole island through Northern Ireland and back to the Republic of Ireland. Following that, Andy and I went from Dublin to Tralee to walk the whole of the Dingle Way, a 112-mile hike around the Dingle Pennisula, taking breaks in small villages and towns along the way.

Getting ready in Tralee

After two weeks of learning the history of Ireland, seeing the sites, and hanging with Andy's fun and fabulous aunts, Andy and I got on a six-hour bus ride in Dublin to head to Tralee. After getting off yet another bus, we wandered around Tralee. Along the way, we found a gorgeous park with a "Garden of the Senses." Feeling a bit silly and a bit free (after the six-hour bus ride), we played around taking some silly photos. This was probably also a way to relieve the anxiety we were both feeling about setting off to hike in the wilderness the next day!
