Leaving Africa

It was only 2 weeks and a few places, but in that time, I fell in love with a small mountain town, felt lost among the big city world of Fez, rode horses into the country for a starry night on a farm, and embraced and respected the time of Ramadan..

Leaving Africa

And then today came... I knew it was coming and I was not excited to go.  There were so many other places to see and go, but myself and another friend had to get back to Spain, as we were both flying out of Barcelona in a couple days.  So we said goodbye to our other 2 friends and took a train to Tangiers and then boarded a ferry back to Spain and watching our last Moroccan sunset from the deck.  Of course, our journey back was far from over, we still had to take a train, to a  night train where I was robbed, to a commuter train, to a bus, to the Barcelona hostel for our last night and then early the next morning to the airport to say goodbye and take our separate journeys home with mixed emotions once again.
