The Grand Canyon

 the drive  took a few hours from Sedona to get to the Grand Canyon with a stop in flagstaff for warmer clothes, there was snow on the ground up there and we were defiantly not prepared for that at all. we got into the grand canyon in the late afternoon sunday. we waisted no time to make it out to the rim and it is so beautiful. i didn't really remember how huge it is. i know it sounds silly because it is the GRAND CANYON and all but WOW! we hiked around until it got to dark to see and called it a night. 

the next morning we woke up early and went driving along the south rim...the scenic route home. there are stops to look out about every half mile and at the end there is an old look out tower that you can tour. for what i understand the drive along the rim can take anywhere from an hour to well as long as you want it to be, i think we spent probably 2 hours.
