isles

So the thing (I've noticed) about the Greek Isles is the uneven balance of supply & demand. The locals pretty much have you at their whim regarding prices - so I've ended up spending a small fortune here. However you can't really deny the beauty though. I suppose for travellers not operating on a shoestring budget, the prices would be well within reason.
Hydra isn't very large & there are no cars, etc for transportation/delivery. Only donkeys. There aren't any real beaches here either... just some rock ledges... which did provide some excellent diving opportunities though. And having my own private room, TV, bathroom, etc has left me feeling quite pampered.
