A quick stop off...

Having arrived in Frankfurt in the early morning we had a bit of a wait before we could get the train to Bamberg. Unfortunately we didn’t really have much time to do more than have a bit of a ‘sit down’ (something you do when you get older it seems) and go and get some lunch.

After the usual decision making process (ie bickering) we decided to give Rebecca’s new favourite local bar Escobar a go (review to come). They were only just opening but that didn’t stop us ordering some brunch type vitals and a nice glass of red wine. As Rebecca and Lloyd are some of their best customers the bar staff wasted no time in plying us with some very tasty free cocktails to see us on our way!!

Then it was off to the station to get the ICE to Bamberg. For once there was no real problems with out seats (as there’s usually someone sitting in your reserved seat) and the journey was pretty uneventful...
