friend's university residence - Talence
Here we go, after a shitty unfinished year about computing science course ( dammit so hard :( it wasn't for me ) i was ready to take some vacation with some new friends to Bordeaux-Lacanau ( never been, so... ). My friend Gauthier and his girlfriend Cindy were ready to move from Reims to Bordeaux ( what I understand easily ;) ) So i decide to join them and make a trip to Spain ( west part ). And then pass Pyrenees mountains, see Andorra and meet other friend who live in Avignon ( plus a great trip to Marseille and Cassis )
Then i drove from Reims to Angouleme, to Bordeaux ( 10hrs pfff so long )...but so happy to reach Ocean ( love it ). First night, we had a nice dinnet at friend's house and directly the next early morning...Hit the road Jack ;)

In fact you have 2 locations for Lacanau :
  1. lacanau lake ( very pretty, quiet )
  2. lacanau ocean ( totally different and every year you have the great surfing contest )

I drove almost the exact route in 2005 but I went a little deeper into Spain. Very nice drive. Beautiful landscapes and incredible people. :)
