A stroll through a place where even silence is silent....

Benirrama

Blog devoted to showing one of those wonderful and unknown places that rarely (and fortunately) occupy space in tourist guides for being away from the patterns and topics that characterize the typical tourist sites.

Benirrama is a small rural nuclei located inside one of the valleys of the interior of the mountain of Alicante, concretely to Vall de Gallinera.

Vall de Gallinera is a municipality of Valencian Community located in the northeastern province of Alicante and inside the district of Marina Alta.

This valley it´s formed by eight small nucleus: Benirrama, Benialí, Benissivà, Benitaia, La Carrotja, Alpatró, Llombai and Benissili, constituting all together one single municipality.

The total combined population at the moment is around 600 and the council of this region is situated in Benialí.

They are all agricultural towns mainly producers of cherries, almonds, olives and constitute an ideal destination to enjoy a high quality rural tourism.
