Autumn at the Arboretum

I should have spent today doing yard work and getting ready for winter, but I decided it was finally time to check out the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. I'm ashamed to say I've never been to the Arboretum until today and considering how long I've lived here, I really have no good excuse. The good news is that I picked a perfect day to go for the first time and see the trees and their leaves in various states of changing colors, falling and laying on the ground. For those of you who wonder why we Minnesotans freeze our asses off for half the year, days likes this are a big reason why. Look at the photos and I hope you'll understand. In 3 short hours, I managed to take 500 photos. I've only uploaded a portion of them, but if you'd like to see the whole set click on the link below to my Flickr Arboretum photo set.
