As you can see these huge lions and solid rock memorial make it a must see for anyone.
The drive up to the Rhodes Memorial which is situated on the eastern side of Devil's Peak offer great views of the city as well as Cape Town University which sit just below this granite monument built in memory of a former prime minister. As we looked out, we saw the building of a new stadium for the World Cup. Just spectacular. Alongside of here, you can see herds of Zebra and antelope and some other animal I couldn't identify. This little, well not too little resreve was pretty cool.
There is a little teahouse that you can visit and they say the pies are great. Many people just found it a great place to start a hike or an even better place to sit and record your thoughts. The memorial is open from 9am-6pm.
