Peach Park!

We stopped off here, since I had had to go to the bathrrom since we left Birmingham.
Clanton is the peach capital of Alabama and there's an abundance of stands you can stop at to buy peaches, tomatoes, and other seasonal produce.
Peach Park has such a stand and offers a gift shop with doo-dads galore. But the highlight is the homemade ice cream! They offer the obligatory flavors of vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, but offer seasonal blends, like peaches and cream and praline-almond or something along that lines.
Definately a great place to stop while on the wat to the beach!
