Marriot Princeton Hotel: review and room video
I stayed at this hotel many times tears ago when it was the Doral Forrestal Conference Hotel. This was taken over by Marriot in August 2005 and was renamed as the Marriot Princeton since August 2006.
I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the hotel has become since the change. The hotel still suffers in part from having been built as a conference center and has very long and cold corridors. The bedrooms, though, are a good size with big bright windows and the very comfortable Marriot beds, bedding and pillows. The bathrooms seem to have been renovated and are some of the better ones in similar chain hotels in the area.
The conference facilities at the hotel are looking a bit dated and need some renovations, but the services are excellent. They have lots of different sized rooms and instead of having separate refreshments for each meeting they have a few central stations open all day with a wide range of snacks and drinks. This is a good facility. The staff members are also very efficient and get things done quickly.
One downside of pretty much all hotels in the
There is a small fitness center that is fairly well equipped and it is easy to have a good workout. There is also a decent sized pool.
I was pleased with the changes to the hotel and suspect I will stay here on my frequent visits to the area instead of a competitive chain I have been staying at the last 3 years.
You can see a video of the room (2523) that I stayed in above
