The Black river wasn't actually a Black river it was more green-ish than anything.

A nice cruise along the river for a little while which was much needed, with the sun nice and warm the water glistening and soft music on the boat.

As we passed a man happily crafting on his small wooden boat I was reminded of the film Country Man  for some strange reason and I smiled ...JUST FOR JAMAICA the little island in the caribbean that had made us so happy, so while I was smiling away at the island I loved so much our guide had jumped up to show us a crocodile lurking in the foliage as he emerged everyone got excited and jumped up to have a look, We all got our turn with our cameras, it was great the croc came right near to the boat, our guide was putting his hand out to the little fella with the snappy jaw I thought he was crazy, he was trying to get him to come closer to the boat so we could get better shots of the friendly Jamaican croc. I've never been so close to a biting machine before.

It was a nice end to the tour and then we had our long journey back to negril.
